Eric Mings Ph.D. received his B.S., M.S. ,and Ph.D. from the University of Florida. Dr. Eric Mings graduated in 1987 with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with concentration in Neuropsychology. He had worked at North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center performing forensic evaluations, and at ORMC Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center while establishing his private practice. He has been in private practice since 1987 and has performed thousands of forensic evaluations in both state and federal courts. He has done both criminal and civil court evaluations. He has testified numerous times in criminal cases ranging from misdemeanor to death penalty cases- both at the trial and post conviction stages, and in a variety of types of civil cases. He has completed both Basic and Advanced courses in interviewing and interrogation by John E. Reid and Associates- one of the pioneers of interrogation techniques taught to local, state, and federal goverment law enforcement.
At the present time he maintains a full time forensic practice located in Orlando Florida, and is available for case consultation throughout the state of Florida and occasionally elsewhere. He is available for speaking engagements nationally.
